Halong

Traveling east of Hanoi we came to Halong Bay.  It is a resort area and lovely part of the ocean that has numerous limestone outcroppings.  We boarded a small ship for the 27 of us. We ended up cruising the bay for a full day and night.  Our rooms were adequate and the food was plenteous as we floated among some of natures more beautiful sights.  

We took two excursions, one hiking in a large cave and one boating through some small covered areas.  What nature has created is sometimes the most amazing things to be seen.
