Hue

Traveling to Hue took us past China Beach.  This area was a big area for R and R for the US troops during the Vietnam war.  It is a beautiful spot.

Hue was the capital of Vietnam for 150 years until the end of WWII.  Tomorrow we will see the Forbidden City.  But today we had mass at the Benedictine Abbey there   The Pagoda theme slipped into their church.  Since our tour is sponsored by St. John's Abbey, it was going to happen sooner or later.
