Hue II

Hue was the home of the ruling monarchy (the king) for many years.  it was also the scene of the Tet Offensive in 1968.  We. Were able to see evidence of both.  We began our day with boat ride on the Perfume River.  It was warm and sunny.

Then we visited the most impressive tomb of one of the Kings.

Next we visited the Forbidden City inside the. Citadel.  The life of the King was something to behold.

Finally we were biked back to the Hotel by a biker.  OMG, through the traffic and all
