Mekong

We drove out of the big city into the Mekong River delta.  It is a mysterious and beautiful place that has several million people living in it.  The abundance of water and flooding cause a constant challenge to traveling.  We took increasingly smaller boats and vehicles to get to the deeper regions.

We visited a family site for processing coconuts.

Then we saw where they made bricks.

Finally we saw them make rice paper for spring rolls.

It revealed a simple life that allowed people to live in this wonderful spot.  The beauty of the Vietnamese 

People and the wonder of the land is beyond what I have experienced before.
